About AFMS

AFMS is a part of the social uplifting program of e-LPG, which has been founded with an aim to set up an essential commodity enterprise in Africa. Through the consumption of such commodity within society, we generate a huge fund to invest in social uplifting — by economizing the process cost and sharing it for the cause — without seeking donations, ensuring sustainability from generation to generation through circulation of LPG cylinders within societies

Our Origin

At Africa Fleet Management Solutions (K) Limited (AFMS), our journey began with a bold idea:
 To transform how Africa moves. Move Smarter. Go Further. Stay Connected. AFMS was founded in 1995 by a great visionary leader Mr. Ike Alibhai, under the ownership and banner of SIMBA CORPORATION LIMITED (www.simbacorp.com), to manage, monitor, and control their own assembled and financed vehicles for customers — and thereafter provide the same telematics services to their entire fleets.

A New Era Begins

In 2021, 100% share of AFMS was acquired strategically by e-LPG Holding Limited (www.afms.africa) with a visionary mindset:
 To manage their planned, large in-house LPG fleet across Africa using the telematics strength of AFMS and simultaneously serve other customers — whether single-vehicle owners or commercial fleet operators — and track scattered assets all across Africa.

Our Vision

As the founder, I envisioned a company that would go beyond just tracking vehicles and assets.
 We set out to redefine efficiency, safety, and transparency in the transport and asset management sector — using the power of telematics and smart mobility solutions — while simultaneously generating abundant funds for social uplifting through a small revenue share per asset tracking per month. With this new vision, AFMS contributes to Hunger Mitigation within African countries by investing Ksh 50 per asset tracking per month into poor people feeding programs.
